About Hypnosis and Hypnotherapy

Hypnosis is a natural state of mind that we experience daily. It can be induced voluntarily or with the assistance of a hypnotherapist. In this relaxed state, the conscious mind becomes less analytical and more susceptible to suggestion. You enter into a hypnotic state during routine activities like driving, cooking, or cleaning. During hypnosis, both the conscious and unconscious mind are more open to influence and change.

Hypnotherapy is a collaborative process between the client and the hypnotherapist. By using hypnosis, we help you relax and access your subconscious mind. Together, we work on understanding how your thoughts and emotions shape your experiences in life.

Once in a hypnotic state you can make connections between your thoughts, feelings, and experiences. This enables you to accept suggestions for alternative ways of thinking and behaving to achieve your desired outcomes.

Throughout the session, you remain in complete control. You can stop the session or leave at any time—it is your session and you decide how it progresses. You typically remember everything that is said, as if having a conscious conversation. It's important to note that hypnotherapy is not the same as stage hypnosis. The purpose of stage hypnosis is for entertainment and carefully selected participants. Hypnotherapy does not involve controlling your mind or making you do things against your will. Rest assured, no swinging pocket watches are used during hypnotherapy sessions.

Hypnotherapy is a highly effective treatment that helps you uncover the root causes of your problems leading to quick and progressive results.
