IEMT and Hypnotherapy
Integral Eye Movement Therapy (IEMT) is a brief process for changing undesired, unhelpful emotions and identity imprints. The process uses a set of techniques which build resources inside the problem state, brings the client into the present and enables them to stay out of past negative experiences permanently.
IEMT works on memory imprints that are causing the emotion. It does not work on the emotion alone but on the basis of removing negative emotions from memories with the use of eye movements to create change. The memories remain of course, however, as the eyes are moved in certain rhythmic sequences by following the practitioners finger movements, the positioning of that memory changes and therefore the emotion attached to that memory also changes.
After having had this therapy clients may well experience a new found freedom from the release of negative emotions. Being attached to past trauma can be harrowing, causing long lasting self limiting beliefs within the psyche. This therapy also includes work on identity of the self – exploring what has happened in the past in relation to where they are right now. This facilitates clarity and focus, making the mind much quieter and happier. It also allows for better decision making and goal setting for a brighter future.
You may find you do not want to go over certain memories at length due to fear etc and with IEMT you will not be asked to revisit and discuss your negative past as it is not necessary for this therapy.
I use IEMT alongside hypnotherapy, it can be particularly helpful to release difficult emotions that the you’re struggling to let go of. It is also great when working with PTSD, anxiety and circumstantial situations that are currently looping in ones head.
IEMT can be applied to most problematic emotions, beliefs and issues which result from these memories.

Its a great tool to start with, it can help calm you if your emotions are getting the better of you.
